One Home
Welcome to the 'One Home' site! Check back in the coming months as this site will evolve into a
one-stop destination to learn diverse ways you can make your home and neighborhood an even better place.
'One Home' programs have been created for Logan residents:
- to help homeowners improve the safety and aesthetics of their owner-occupied homes.
- to increase accessibility to homeownership.
- to facilitate ways neighbors can work together for the common good of the neighborhood.
The purpose of this effort is to facilitate and encourage neighborhood improvement efforts.
The City and its housing program partners have seen time and again how a relatively small
investment into one home has the ability to strengthen an entire block or neighborhood. These
programs are primarily funded from Community Development Block Grant funds, and consequently, are
subject to HUD regulations.
Check back regularly to learn about housing-related programs available as part of "One Home."

Have a neighborhood work party this year! The Neighborhood/Block Improvement program provides
grant funding to help cover the cost of the materials, equipment rental, and/or limited
professional expertise needed for
exterior
improvements. Improvements include deferred maintenance and aesthetic corrections, including but not limited to:
- fence or walkway repair
- new paint or landscaping
- weatherization
for owner-occupied, income-eligible residences in Logan. See the 'Program Guide' for income
eligibility requirements. Applications may include improvements for one property or many and
applicant match/leveraging is an important consideration for funding approval.

From Logan Mayor, Randy Watts:
"Maintaining Logan's neighborhoods as desirable areas to live starts with the care that each
homeowner puts into their individual property.
When one neighbor strives for a higher standard of livability and safety, we see, more times than
not, that the rest of the neighborhood follows. It often takes on a ripple effect.
The One Home Programs support a commitment to life-safety, beautification, and the desire for
stability that many homeowners have for their property, their family, and their neighborhood."
